- Ensure outstanding customer service by creating a friendly and welcoming environment, including greeting and acknowledging customers, maintaining housekeeping standards, and possessing solid product knowledge.
- Accurately and efficiently process transactions at the registers, maintaining cash and media integrity.
- Utilize proper telephone etiquette for answering calls, taking messages, addressing customer inquiries, and transferring calls.
- Assist in packing or wrapping customers’ merchandise.
- Manage customer exchanges or returns in collaboration with the Boutique Leadership Team.
- Communicate customer requests and feedback to management.
- Complete all opening and closing procedures accurately, including securing all cash and receipts.
- Maintain an orderly appearance of the register area and ensure supplies are stocked.
- Assist in floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance, and housekeeping.
- Provide support to the selling floor as needed.
- Participate in all inventories.
- Address problems and make informed suggestions to enhance service and productivity in the cash wrap area.
- Support general Boutique operational tasks, including safety and security, policy and procedures, and receiving product.
- Minimum 3 years of retail cashiering experience, preferably in a luxury environment.
- Ability to work a full-time schedule, including varied hours/days such as nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and follow-through skills.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle boxes of merchandise and fixtures throughout the store.
- Willingness to adhere to all company policies, procedures, regulations, and standards.
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Proficiency in cash handling and POS systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Organizational and multitasking abilities
- Problem-solving skills
Minimum of 3 years in retail cashiering, with a preference for experience in luxury settings.
