- Design and model 3D jewelry pieces in accordance with provided specifications, balancing aesthetic criteria and technical constraints.
- Interpret and analyze design requests to translate aesthetic intentions into 3D volumes, collaborating with technical experts.
- Prepare all necessary CAD files for 3D printing.
- Collaborate with project teams, including industry experts and support services, to ensure product feasibility and optimal design.
- Create tool-ready files for production, considering manufacturing processes and constraints.
- Ensure consistency and quality of designs during design reviews.
- Develop technical documentation for each piece, including plans, bill of materials, assembly instructions, and technical information.
- Organize and maintain CAD files, including versions and revisions, to keep the database current with concepts and elements used in collections.
- Ensure CAD models meet quality standards and collection specifications.
- Communicate effectively to advance projects and address delays or challenges.
- Degree in design, preferably with a specialization in luxury product design or a related field.
- Additional qualifications in jewelry-making, such as a CAP or MBA, are advantageous.
- In-depth knowledge of jewelry products, technical specifications, and production techniques.
- Project management expertise.
- Proficiency in jewelry mock-up creation techniques and methodologies.
- Advanced skills in CAD software such as Solidworks and 3Design.
- Strong organizational skills to optimize daily task management.
- Balanced approach between flexibility and rigor.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to train operators and impart knowledge effectively.
Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in a similar environment, with a focus on product development in jewelry.
Degree in design, preferably with a specialization in luxury product design.
