Christian Dior Assistant Retail Merchandiser

- Compile and analyze weekly and monthly performance reports, focusing on trends and providing insights to the buyer.
- Evaluate sell-through rates of seasonal collections and monitor availability rates of permanent collections.
- Prepare for and actively participate in weekly flagship meetings.
- Review stock levels weekly for both seasonal and permanent collections, and organize rebalancing based on network needs.
- Create newsletters for the entire network.
- Prepare pre-purchase analyses and propose macro forecasts with the retail merchandiser.
- Construct assortments for boutiques based on feedback from country managers and boutique directors.
- Define boutique allocations based on sales potential and buffer requirements.
- Prepare post-purchase presentations.
- Previous experience in merchandising or supply chain within fashion or luxury sectors, or in a product-focused role with a strong numerical emphasis.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Fluency in English.
- Strong interpersonal skills, precision, and creativity.
- Ability to work with numerical data and derive insights.
Entry-level experience in merchandising or supply chain, preferably within the fashion or luxury industry.
Bachelor's degree from a business school, engineering school, or university.
The internship offers a comprehensive learning experience, providing exposure to the codes, environment, and culture of a prestigious French haute couture house. It presents an opportunity to gain significant experience in the luxury sector while applying and expanding existing skills. The intern will be fully integrated into the team, with a detailed mission outline and objectives set at the beginning of the internship, and regular progress reviews throughout.
