Christian Dior Assistant Quality Control Team Leader

- Adjust resource allocation based on inspection volumes.
- Alert the Quality Control Manager of potential delays or non-conformities.
- Communicate feedback for continuous improvement of product quality and processes.
- Manage network returns by receiving, processing, and reconditioning products while ensuring quality status.
- Coordinate actions and information flow during quality alerts in collaboration with the Quality Control Manager.
- Perform operational tasks as needed.
- Evaluate the technical feasibility of product compliance restoration.
- Handle administrative tasks including email and phone inquiries.
- Monitor activity and maintain tracking tools and files.
- Train team members, including onboarding new arrivals and coordinating necessary training.
- Communicate and enforce control procedures for each category.
- Share quality standards for each collection and ensure team understanding and application.
- Ensure clear communication and application of instructions at workstations.
- Analyze and resolve team member issues.
- Relay information to the team and occasionally lead team meetings.
- Communicate with other department leaders and production regarding anomalies.
- Ensure adherence to environmental policies, particularly waste sorting.
- Ensure safety instructions are followed and maintain accessibility of fire extinguishers and emergency exits.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the department.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field, with a strong knowledge of couture.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in leading operational teams in production or quality control within the fashion industry.
- Expertise in garment manufacturing techniques.
- Proficiency in quality control methodologies.
- Strong understanding of fabrics, embellishments, and other materials used in couture.
- Knowledge of alteration techniques.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Teams, familiarity with WMS is preferred.
- Understanding of Lean principles.
- Leadership and team management skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to clearly explain technical processes.
- Organizational skills, precision, and confidentiality.
- Initiative, autonomy, agility, and high responsiveness.
- Commitment to continuous improvement.
- Proficiency in English is preferred.
Minimum of 5 years in a leadership role within production or quality control in the ready-to-wear sector.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
