Christian Dior Assistant Product Manager - Men's Small Leather Goods Internship

- Assist in the development and tracking of collection progress, including daily studio activities, prototype launches, and final sample management.
- Update and maintain collection tracking tools, such as PowerPoint and Excel, for collaboration with teams, particularly in Italy.
- Support the Product Marketing Manager by sharing collection information, managing marketing opening requests, and updating visual renders and Excel plans for coding.
- Monitor prototype development in collaboration with Italian partners, ensuring compliance and updating databases with photographs.
- Provide logistical support for meetings with the Artistic Direction.
- Manage the daily flow of prototypes between Italian factories and the Paris development office.
- Coordinate event logistics, including packaging and transporting products to fashion shows or sales showrooms.
- Assist in fashion show preparation, including daily updates, model reception and compliance tracking, and managing the 'look list' during the pre-show week.
- Compile ATA Carnets with product references, descriptions, materials, photos, and supplier documents.
- Archive products in Blois by compiling and updating lists of references, photos, and descriptions.
- Previous experience in a similar role (product development, collection coordinator, product marketing manager) is mandatory.
- Good knowledge of leather goods is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel).
- Fluency in English and basic proficiency in Italian.
- Sensitivity to the luxury and fashion industry.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and dynamism.
Entry-level experience in product development or related fields is required.
This internship provides a comprehensive understanding of the role of a Product Manager in prototype development, from material research to product showcasing at fashion shows and sales sessions. It also offers in-depth knowledge of leather goods, leather materials, and the techniques used to enhance them.
