1. Oversee programs to safeguard company assets from theft, fraud, and unsafe practices.
2. Establish effective partnerships to design and implement loss prevention policies that reduce shrinkage and enhance safety.
3. Contribute to the development of asset protection policies and crisis response standards.
4. Collaborate with government and industry security professionals to ensure high-level security responses.
5. Develop and implement training programs to increase awareness of safety initiatives and emergency procedures.
6. Conduct internal risk and safety audits with a focus on teaching and coaching.
7. Partner with Human Resources, Legal, and Operations to conduct investigations and create action plans.
8. Utilize performance reporting to identify risks and mitigate loss, leveraging exception-based reporting to detect theft and operational deficiencies.
9. Ensure timely completion of investigations in compliance with corporate and legal standards.
10. Identify opportunities to improve shrink results and manage security personnel and systems.
11. Coordinate security event coverage as needed.

1. Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
2. Minimum 5 years of experience in retail loss prevention or asset protection.
3. LPQ or LPC Certifications or equivalent experience preferred.
4. WZ or CFI Certifications preferred.

1. Strong interview, interrogation, and investigative skills.
2. Excellent management and leadership skills for collaboration across the organization.
3. Proficient understanding of criminal and civil law in a retail context.
4. Comprehensive knowledge of physical security systems.
5. Self-motivated with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
6. Excellent analytical skills for problem-solving.
7. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
8. Proficient in loss prevention applications and MS Office.

A minimum of 5 years in retail loss prevention or asset protection is required.

Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.

The salary ranges from $95,000 to $110,000 annually, with bonus eligibility.
