Christian Dior Art Collection Management Assistant Internship

- Manage the art collection, including contemporary visual arts, sculptures, designer furniture, and heritage pieces.
- Organize and optimize storage of artworks, assist in restoration processes.
- Conduct inventory and physical verification of artworks in France and coordinate international oversight.
- Facilitate transportation of artworks.
- Provide administrative support for exhibition projects in France and internationally.
- Participate in rotations and installations at Galerie Dior.
- Oversee loans of artworks to external institutions such as museums and foundations.
- Support special projects, including photo shoots.
- Create and enrich database entries for new acquisitions using Skinsoft.
- Edit internal catalogs of artworks using software such as Excel, PowerPoint, InDesign, and Skinsoft.
- Coordinate with artists and galleries for contract management and stock entry declarations with the Insurance department.
- Liaise with Store Planners for logistics of purchased artworks.
- Conduct iconographic research and coordinate with local contractors for new Dior site decor projects.
- Previous experience in collection management or cultural project management.
- Genuine interest in modern and contemporary art and design.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and discretion.
- Excellent general culture and literary and writing skills.
- Dynamic and capable of autonomous task planning.
- Interest in the luxury sector and knowledge of Maison Dior is essential.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
