- Perform general accounting and administrative tasks.
- Conduct intercompany reconciliation.
- Book and reverse monthly provisions related to vendors and payroll.
- Assist in the preparation and submission of VAT returns and other tax-related filings.
- Support payroll booking and ensure compliance with labor laws.
- Liaise with external auditors, providing necessary documentation and information.
- Handle reconciliation and resolve discrepancies in financial records.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements.
- Manage and reconcile bank accounts, preparing bank reconciliations.
- Review incoming invoices according to VAT regulations.
- Code, digitize, and book receipts and incoming invoices.
- Review and book travel expense reports.
- Code and book fixed assets and ongoing business transactions in fixed assets accounting.
- Maintain master data and accounts, supporting payment transactions.
- Successfully completed studies as a certified accountant.
- Several years of professional experience in accounting with knowledge in tax law.
- Strong analytical skills and service orientation.
- Precise, structured, and reliable working methods.
- High commitment and conscientiousness.
- Interest in operational contexts and processes.
- Open personality with good communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or SAP S/4HANA.
- Proficiency in German and English, both written and spoken; additional languages are advantageous.
A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in accounting is required.
Certified accountant qualification.
