Chopard Decorator / Anglage (Hand Finisher)
Chronométrie Ferdinand Berthoud is a haute horlogerie atelier that produces exceptionally limited series timepieces inspired by the historic marine and royal watchmaking tradition. The Fleurier manufacture combines historical craftsmanship with advanced in-house calibre development, pursuing technical excellence and meticulous hand finishing in every piece.
- Execute traditional hand anglage (bevelling) and corner polishing on movement components to haute horlogerie standards.
- Perform perimeter stretching, polishing of mouldings and refinement of contours.
- Carry out surface finishes including softening (adoucissage), drawn finish (trait tiré), microblasting and blocked polish.
- Apply additional decorative processes developed internally or by approved external specialists.
- Perform autocontrôle (self-inspection) and document work to ensure compliance with finishing tolerances and quality specifications.
- Maintain precision hand tools and uphold atelier cleanliness and safety protocols.
- Vocational diploma in watchmaking (CFC/DEP) or equivalent qualification in micromechanics/precision engineering.
- Proven experience in haute horlogerie hand-finishing and anglage on movement components.
- Exceptional manual dexterity, fine motor control and visual acuity (loupe proficiency).
- Ability to read technical drawings and respect strict dimensional and aesthetic tolerances.
- Meticulous approach to quality control and a commitment to preserving traditional finishing techniques.

Several years of practical experience in haute horlogerie finishing, with hands-on proficiency in anglage and movement decoration; prior work on in-house or limited-series calibres is highly desirable.
Diploma in watchmaking (CFC/DEP) or equivalent vocational training in micromechanics or precision engineering.
