- Collaborate with the Assistant Chef Sommelier to maintain the highest quality standards for the Maison.
- Maximize beverage revenue through innovative marketing, promotional activities, and customer research.
- Manage wine inventory and order stock as needed.
- Ensure proper storage of wine at the appropriate temperature.
- Engage with guests to discuss wine selections and provide expert recommendations.
- Upsell wines to guests and promote wine events with a focus on quality.
- Maintain and update the professional wine list weekly.
- Adhere to service and knowledge training plans set by the department head.
- Anticipate and promptly respond to guests' needs, ensuring a favorable impression.
- Present the beverage list and recommend liquors, cocktails, or digestives.
- Diploma Certificate in hospitality and catering
- Minimum 3 years of experience within a luxury establishment
- 2 years in a similar position
- Minimum of WSET Level 3 or equivalent
- Experience in sommelierie and mixology
- National Diploma and first aid qualification
- Strong leadership abilities
- Experience managing high-volume cellars
- Team management skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Proficiency in wine and beverage knowledge
