- Set up, organize, and oversee the designated section of the room service department.
- Possess comprehensive knowledge of the Carte Blanche menu, including equipment, beverages, and dish preparation.
- Serve as the order taker in the absence of the designated staff member.
- Advise guests to ensure complete satisfaction and contribute to the revenue optimization of the outlet.
- Participate in or manage order taking, transmission, and service of food and beverages according to hotel and restaurant procedures.
- Ensure the alignment of prepared dishes with orders while maintaining restaurant quality standards.
- Clear and reset trays efficiently.
- Present bills and process payments in accordance with hotel and outlet procedures.
- Promote various services and products available within the hotel and Cheval Blanc properties.
- Perform cleaning tasks according to hotel procedures.
- Supervise assigned personnel effectively.
- Ensure optimal minibar stocking according to hotel procedures.
- Participate in inventory management.
- Assist in linen management, including setup, renewal, and supply.
- Contribute to the management of the wine cellar.
- Facilitate effective communication within the service team.
- Adhere to hygiene and safety regulations.
- Report any unusual situations concerning safety or potential accidents to management.
- Proven experience in a similar role within luxury hospitality.
- Strong knowledge of room service operations and procedures.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to manage and supervise a team effectively.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
Minimum of 3 years in a similar role within luxury hospitality.
The position includes accommodation with minimal rent contribution, meals during work hours, two consecutive rest days per week, and a 41-hour workweek without split shifts. Employees receive a uniform maintained daily, access to hotel outlets at preferential rates after three months, full coverage of health insurance, and an annual profit-sharing bonus.
