- Ensure optimal condition of the point of sale at all times.
- Oversee all reservations prior to service.
- Welcome, orient, and seat guests in the venue.
- Monitor the upkeep of the cloakroom.
- Ensure smooth service operations from guest arrival to billing and departure, adhering to hotel procedures.
- Present the menu and beverages, take orders, and provide recommendations to guests.
- Ensure guest satisfaction throughout the service.
- Manage billing in accordance with hotel procedures.
- Adopt a commercial approach to enhance performance indicators and promote hotel services.
- Coordinate effectively with the kitchen and pastry departments.
- Lead briefings in the absence of management and assess team knowledge.
- Assist the Venue Manager with tasks and ensure proper schedule implementation.
- Participate in recruiting new team members and conducting development interviews.
- Welcome, train, coordinate, and organize team activities.
- Manage and raise awareness about operational cost management within the team.
- Participate in inventory management.
- Oversee linen management, including setup, renewal, and supply.
- Manage the wine cellar.
- Facilitate internal communication and information flow within the service.
- Adhere to hygiene and safety regulations.
- Ensure proper communication of client-related information and instructions to the team.
- Report any unusual situations regarding client or colleague safety to management.
- BAC PRO or BTS degree
- Knowledge of HACCP hygiene standards
- Familiarity with luxury hospitality or Michelin-starred dining
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and strong representational potential
- Excellent customer service and hospitality skills, with courtesy and tact
- Availability, flexibility, and adaptability
- Precision, organization, and attention to detail
- Empathy, anticipation, and proactive problem-solving
- Team spirit
- Desire to learn and advance in hospitality or dining sectors
- Mastery of table service in a high-end establishment
- Proven sales and communication abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Micros, and La Fourchette
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within a luxury hospitality or fine dining environment is required.
BAC PRO or BTS
