- Welcome guests in accordance with hotel procedures and ensure their optimal satisfaction throughout the service.
- Manage billing and cash handling with the approval of the hierarchical superior.
- Promote the restaurant and events within the hotel and across Cheval Blanc properties.
- Set up, arrange, and inspect the designated area of the restaurant.
- Advise guests to ensure complete satisfaction and contribute to revenue optimization.
- Take and transmit orders, ensuring the service of dishes and beverages follows hotel procedures.
- Clear and reset tables efficiently.
- Present and process bills according to hotel procedures.
- Promote various services and products available within the hotel and Cheval Blanc properties.
- Perform cleaning tasks as per hotel procedures.
- Supervise assigned staff.
- Participate in inventory management.
- Manage linen setup, renewal, and supply.
- Oversee wine cellar management.
- Facilitate internal communication and relay pertinent information.
- Adhere to hygiene and safety regulations.
- Report any unusual situations regarding safety or potential accidents to management.
- BEP/CAP in Cuisine or BACPRO in Hospitality
- Knowledge of HACCP hygiene standards
- Familiarity with luxury hospitality or Michelin-starred dining
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and strong representational ability
- Outstanding customer service and hospitality skills, with courtesy and tact
- Flexibility, adaptability, and availability
- Precision, organization, and attention to detail
- Empathy and proactive problem-solving
- Team spirit
- Desire to learn and advance in hospitality and dining
- Proven sales and communication abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Micros, and La Fourchette
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
- Proficiency in a third language (Arabic, Russian, Chinese, Portuguese) is advantageous
A minimum of 3 years of significant service experience in a similar high-end establishment is required.
BEP/CAP in Cuisine or BACPRO in Hospitality
