- Welcome guests at the restaurant following hotel procedures.
- Ensure optimal guest satisfaction throughout the service.
- Handle billing and payment processes with managerial approval.
- Promote dining venues and events within the hotel and Cheval Blanc properties.
- Set up, organize, and inspect assigned areas of the venue.
- Advise guests to ensure complete satisfaction and contribute to revenue optimization.
- Take orders, relay them, and serve food and beverages according to hotel standards.
- Clear and reset tables.
- Present bills and process payments as per hotel procedures.
- Promote various services and products available within the hotel and Cheval Blanc properties.
- Perform cleaning tasks according to hotel procedures.
- Supervise assigned staff.
- Participate in inventory management.
- Manage linen setup, replenishment, and supply.
- Assist in managing the wine cellar.
- Facilitate information flow and ensure effective internal communication within the service.
- Adhere to hygiene and safety regulations.
- Report any 'abnormal' situations concerning safety or potential accidents involving guests or colleagues to management.
- BEP/CAP in Cuisine or BACPRO in Restaurant Management.
- Knowledge of HACCP hygiene standards.
- Familiarity with luxury hotel or Michelin-starred restaurant operations.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and strong representational potential.
- Excellent customer service and hospitality skills, with courtesy and tact.
- Availability, flexibility, and adaptability.
- Precision, organization, and attention to detail.
- Empathy, ability to anticipate needs, and proactive problem-solving.
- Team spirit.
- Desire to learn and progress in hospitality/restaurant careers.
- Significant service experience in a similar high-end establishment.
- Sales and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Micros, and La Fourchette.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken), with a third language preferred (Arabic, Russian, Chinese, Portuguese).
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a similar high-end establishment is required.
BEP/CAP in Cuisine or BACPRO in Restaurant Management.
