- Assist the Executive Chef in managing kitchen operations and food preparation.
- Ensure the preparation, cooking, and presentation of food meet high standards of quality and consistency.
- Follow recipes and maintain kitchen hygiene.
- Ensure guest satisfaction through culinary excellence.
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef to plan and create daily menus.
- Rotate menu items to provide variety and cater to guests’ tastes and dietary preferences.
- Ensure all dishes are cooked, garnished, and presented attractively.
- Maintain portion control and consistency in portion sizes.
- Monitor food quality and taste to uphold high culinary standards.
- Conduct regular taste tests and inspections to address any issues promptly.
- Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and well-stocked.
- Maintain kitchen equipment and report any maintenance or repair needs.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role in a high-end hotel or resort.
- Ability to prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to the menu and dietary requirements.
- Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Excellent collaboration skills with the ability to work closely with the Executive Chef.
- Proficiency in maintaining portion control and consistency.
- Strong organizational skills to keep the kitchen clean and well-stocked.
