- Collaborate closely with the Head Sommelier and the Economat Manager to ensure the reception, storage, and distribution of wines and champagnes adhere to hotel procedures and hygiene standards.
- Control and receive wines, champagnes, and related sommelier service materials.
- Record delivery notes, transfer slips, and invoices.
- Unpack and organize wines and champagnes in various storage locations according to sommelier team instructions.
- Update wine storage data regularly.
- Prepare daily stock withdrawals for various sales points and daily cellars based on previous day's requests.
- Monitor stock rotation and manage damaged wine stocks.
- Inform relevant departments about stock levels and potential supply issues.
- Prepare supplier orders in collaboration with the Director of Sommellerie.
- Create purchase requests and participate in delivery planning.
- Participate in hygiene and cleanliness inspections of storage areas.
- Report any 'abnormal' situations regarding safety or accident risks to management.
- Conduct monthly wine and champagne inventories, ensuring smooth operations in collaboration with the finance department.
- Ensure variance regulation for monthly inventory closure under the supervision of the Director of Sommellerie.
- Perform daily stock transfers to sales points.
- Maintain the hotel's brand image in supplier relations.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Proficiency in inventory management and record-keeping.
- Knowledge of wine and champagne varieties and storage requirements.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage stress.
