- Ensure operational setup and manage wine cellar operations, including stock control and inventory in collaboration with the Purchasing Department.
- Welcome guests and provide expert advice to enhance their experience and optimize sales.
- Participate in order taking, transmission, and service of beverages, adhering to hotel procedures.
- Assist in clearing and resetting tables.
- Present invoices and process payments according to hotel procedures.
- Promote various services and products within the hotel and Cheval Blanc properties.
- Perform cleaning tasks following hotel standards.
- Manage linen setup, renewal, and supply.
- Report any safety or accident risks to management.
- Formal education in sommellerie, such as Bac Pro Service et Commercialisation, Bac STHR, BP Sommellerie, MC Sommellerie, or WSET Level 4.
- Knowledge of HACCP hygiene standards.
- Understanding of beverage service legislation.
- Familiarity with luxury hospitality or Michelin-starred dining environments.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and strong representational potential.
- Excellent customer service and hospitality acumen, with courtesy and tact.
- Empathy and the ability to anticipate needs and offer solutions.
- Meticulous attention to detail and organizational skills.

- Proficiency in sales and communication.

A minimum of 3 years of significant experience in sommellerie within an establishment of similar standing is required.
Formal education in sommellerie or related fields.
