Chanel Working Student — Fragrance & Beauty

Chanel is an independent French maison of haute couture, ready-to-wear, accessories and beauty, recognised globally for craftsmanship, heritage and iconic fragrance and cosmetics lines. Chanel Parfums & Beauté operates within the house’s luxury retail network and wholesale partners, delivering curated client experiences and rigorous standards of product presentation and service.

1. Support daily boutique operations at Breuninger Düsseldorf, including client reception, product demonstrations and personalised advice for fragrance and cosmetics.
2. Assist the sales team with clienteling activities and follow-up communications to nurture relationships and drive repeat business.
3. Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems, process transactions and assist with returns and exchanges in line with Chanel policies.
4. Maintain visual merchandising and product presentation to Chanel standards, including shelf replenishment and seasonal display setup.
5. Participate in stock management: receive deliveries, perform inventory counts, label and store products accurately.
6. Support in‑store promotional events, product launches and sampling initiatives alongside Breuninger and Chanel teams.
7. Perform light administrative duties such as sales reporting, appointment scheduling and coordination with regional beauty management.

1. Currently enrolled in a university or higher‑education programme (student status required).
2. Right to work in Germany and able to comply with student hour limits for Werkstudent roles.
3. Professional, polished appearance and strong client‑service ethos suited to luxury retail.
4. Flexible availability including evenings and weekends; reliable punctuality and time management.
5. Strong interpersonal and communication skills; enthusiasm for fragrance and cosmetics.
6. Previous retail or beauty experience desirable but not mandatory; willingness to learn brand standards and sales techniques.

Enrolled tertiary student (university, Fachhochschule or equivalent); student status must be maintained for the duration of the engagement.
