Chanel Translation Project Coordination Assistant Intern

- Assist the project manager in coordinating translation projects from initial briefing to delivery of translation assets for all Parfums Beauté marketing, press, and communication texts.
- Participate in internal project presentation briefs, analyze needs, and assist in formulating recommendations.
- Alert and challenge project timelines when necessary.
- Review and validate source texts in French, ensuring grammatical, orthographic, syntactic, and semantic accuracy.
- Ensure semantic and stylistic consistency across all campaign materials.
- Manage and oversee the translation project, ensuring objectives are met within deadlines.
- Brief translators, document source texts, and anticipate translation specifics to achieve accurate cultural adaptation.
- Communicate with regional branches (Asia, Japan, Europe, UK, US) and provide translation management recommendations.
- Monitor the translation cycle, provide feedback to translators, agencies, and validators, and review, challenge, and validate translations.
- Ensure message fidelity and coherence to guarantee translation quality.
- Track and manage the translation budget and produce regular reports.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Communication, or related field.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage with multiple stakeholders daily.
- Dynamic, reactive, methodical, and organized.
- Recognized for teamwork and commitment.
- Proficiency in English.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and project management abilities.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in English and French.
- Sensitivity to the luxury industry.
No prior experience required, but a strong interest in luxury fashion and project management is preferred.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Communication, or related field.
