Chanel Technical Development and Industrialization Manager

- Lead the pre-industrialization phase by providing technical support to development teams, ensuring optimal technical choices that meet quality, cost, and deadline requirements.
- Oversee the industrialization of costume jewelry and belts, ensuring compliance with quality and timeline standards across eight collections annually.
- Ensure product compliance with technical and quality specifications, including regulatory requirements and the Product Restricted Substances List (PRSL).
- Participate in technical reviews and weekly industrialization meetings with manufacturers, supporting project managers.
- Manage production lead times to ensure timely product deliveries, coordinating with the production manager on validation progress and industrialization alerts.
- Contribute to production transfer scenarios in line with technical, expertise, and capacity constraints under the production manager's guidance.
- Support quality teams during production in case of quality alerts on industrialized products.
- Drive continuous improvement projects within the technical and quality domains, reporting progress to the Quality and Continuous Improvement Manager and the Industrial Director.
- Develop and manage product improvement project reports, collaborating on industrial performance objectives with the Quality and Continuous Improvement Manager.
- Engineering degree in materials, metallurgy, leather, or a related technical field (Bac+5).
- 5 to 10 years of significant experience in industrialization or production of metallic components.
- Experience working with a design studio or designers.
- Proven management experience.
- Strong technical curiosity and product sensitivity.
- Analytical and synthesis skills, with a proactive and rigorous approach.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Proficiency in Excel and PLM software.
- Fluency in French, Italian, and English.
5 to 10 years of significant experience in industrialization or production of metallic components.
Engineering degree in materials, metallurgy, leather, or a related technical field (Bac+5).
