Chanel Sustainability Analyst

1. Collect, validate and consolidate environmental and social data across operations and supply chain for sustainability KPIs.
2. Support greenhouse gas (GHG) accounting, carbon footprint calculations and scope 1–3 data management in line with recognized protocols.
3. Prepare and contribute to sustainability disclosures and external reporting (e.g., GRI, CDP, CSRD) and support assurance processes.
4. Perform quantitative analyses including life-cycle assessment (LCA) inputs, trend analysis and scenario modelling to inform strategy.
5. Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders (sourcing, operations, product development, legal) to drive data quality and implementation of sustainability initiatives.
6. Support supplier engagement and onboarding for sustainability questionnaires, audits and improvement plans.
7. Develop clear management reports, slide decks and dashboards to communicate insights to internal leadership and external audiences.
8. Monitor regulatory and market developments in ESG, sustainability reporting and circularity standards; recommend policy or process updates.

1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in environmental science, sustainability, engineering, environmental management or a related discipline.
2. Proven knowledge of sustainability reporting frameworks and standards (GHG Protocol, GRI Standards, CDP, CSRD).
3. Hands-on experience with data collection, consolidation and KPI governance across multi-site or multi-brand operations.
4. Strong numerical and analytical capability with advanced Excel skills; experience with data visualisation or BI tools is an asset.
5. Excellent stakeholder management and written/verbal communication skills to translate technical analysis into business-relevant recommendations.

Typically 2–5 years of professional experience in sustainability, ESG reporting, environmental management or a related role, preferably within luxury goods, fashion, retail or manufacturing environments.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in environmental science, sustainability, engineering, environmental management or a closely related field.
