Chanel Strategic Insight & Foresight Analyst (Intern)

- Support the Corporate Strategic Insight & Foresight team in systematic horizon scanning and trend-mapping across fashion, beauty, culture and consumer behaviour.
- Conduct primary and secondary research — qualitative interviews, desk research and synthesis of quantitative datasets — to generate actionable insights.
- Create clear, evidence-based deliverables: slide decks, insight briefs, trend maps, and executive summaries for senior stakeholders.
- Contribute to scenario planning, foresight workshops and cross-functional ideation sessions to inform medium- and long-term strategic choices.
- Monitor competitor activity and emerging market signals; maintain trackers and databases to support ongoing intelligence needs.
- Collaborate with internal teams (product, marketing, retail, creative) to translate foresight outputs into strategic recommendations.
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master’s programme in Strategy, Business, Economics, Futures Studies, Design, Sociology or a related discipline.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French and English.
- Demonstrated intellectual curiosity, strong critical thinking and the ability to synthesize complex information into concise recommendations.
- High standards of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential strategic material.

Previous internships or project experience in strategy, market research, consulting, cultural analysis or corporate foresight preferred. Practical exposure to insight generation and client-facing deliverables (6–18 months total experience advantageous).
Enrolled in a university-level programme (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in a relevant field; Master’s-level candidates preferred.
