- Serve as the primary liaison for the U.S. Chanel Fragrance & Beauty division with market intelligence vendors, managing tools, data requests, and vendor collaboration.
- Govern and maintain competitive and market data sources, ensuring accuracy and accessibility across teams.
- Develop and manage reporting dashboards to monitor market performance, including trends in categories, channels, and brands.
- Conduct external research to identify trends and produce actionable insights for internal stakeholders.
- Lead the publication of key insights and performance reports, highlighting Chanel's market position.
- Collaborate with various teams to connect insights to strategic planning and execution.
- Support strategic planning processes by providing data and insights that frame the market landscape.
- Deliver ad hoc market and competitive analyses to address evolving business questions.
- Contribute to long-term strategic projects, informing account-level and channel-level strategies.
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 5–7 years of professional experience with a strong analytical foundation.
- Prior experience in the Fragrance and Beauty industry or luxury retail is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of data structures and governance.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to navigate ambiguity.
- Proficiency in creating polished presentations for senior leadership.
- Ability to influence and engage cross-functional partners.
- Self-motivated, organized, and results-driven with excellent time-management skills.
5–7 years of professional experience, preferably in the Fragrance and Beauty industry or luxury retail, with a strong analytical foundation and proven ability to extract insights from complex data sets.
Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree in business, marketing, analytics, or a related field strongly preferred.
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $87,500 through $135,000. Additional compensation may include bonus potential and other benefits.
