Chanel Senior Manager, Account Development

- Provide strategic account-specific support to Multi-Brand Retail partners.
- Lead key wholesale accounts and manage Chanel's image and business within the retailer partner network.
- Develop and execute short and long-term strategic plans for specified retailer accounts.
- Act as the primary interface with corporate account partners, including buyers and digital merchants.
- Oversee and negotiate e-commerce and digital marketing initiatives.
- Identify and negotiate opportunities to enhance Chanel's market share and client loyalty KPIs.
- Partner with leadership to evaluate business opportunities and lead cross-functional project teams.
- Create targeted programs with retailers and optimize future business models.
- Develop a seasonal, customized omni-channel marketing account strategy.
- Manage day-to-day communication and relationships with accounts.
- Create presentations for external and internal teams.
- Align internal media and external brand activities to support brand objectives.
- Establish strong relationships with field teams and lead respective account cohorts.
- Facilitate alignment between internal cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Previous experience in marketing, business development, or a merchant/buying role.
- Prior direct account management and negotiation experience.
- Experience with data analysis and senior-management level presentations.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
- Superior written and oral communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills including retail math and financial modeling.
- Independent thinker with the ability to identify and present opportunities.
- Digital expertise in site merchandising and digital tactics.
The candidate must have prior experience in marketing, business development, or a merchant/buying role, with direct account management and negotiation experience.
Bachelor's degree required.
The anticipated base salary range is $120,000 to $130,000, with potential for bonuses and other variable pay components.
