1. Review weekly notifications of adopted trademarks and conduct regular audits of the trademark portfolio.
2. Contribute to trademark filing strategies and implement agreed strategies by filing applications and instructing external counsel.
3. Assist with objections and oppositions to third-party trademarks, including monitoring deadlines and drafting legal correspondence.
4. Audit the designs portfolio and contribute to design filing strategies, including filing national and Hague design applications.
5. Manage IP rights records within the IP rights database, ensuring accurate data entry and deadline monitoring.
6. Liaise with Notary Public for documentation needs such as powers of attorney.
7. Engage actively in the Administrators & Paralegals’ Group (APG) to support workflow and process efficiencies.
8. Assist with compiling statistics, reports, and presentations for the Managing and Senior IP Counsels.

1. Post Qualification Experience of 5 years or more.
2. CITMA Paralegal Certificate.
3. Experience in trademarks administration, either in-house or in private practice.

4. Effective communication with internal and external contacts.
5. Experience with IP rights databases such as Anaqua/AQX.

A minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience in trademarks administration, with a comprehensive understanding of trademark formalities and renewals.
