Chanel Senior Insurance Manager

- Explain insurance coverage details to business entities and handle insurance queries from all entities under the Chanel umbrella.
- Liaise with brokers and insurers to ensure timely issuance of global and local policies and payment of premiums.
- Create, work with, and maintain large databases, including renewal data for all lines of insurance and contract management.
- Review and analyze renewal data for insurance policies prior to submission to insurers.
- Collate, review, and analyze reported values for insurance programs within given timeframes, identifying questionable or missing data.
- Oversee the risk management and information system (RMIS/Origami), including troubleshooting with IT support.
- Ensure governance and execution of the support model in accordance with business plans.
- Provide functional support to end users and update systems as needs evolve.
- Lead communication management with stakeholders.
- Review global insurance binders, policies, premium invoices, and other documents for accuracy, resolving discrepancies as necessary.
- Collect loss runs under individual policies to formulate presentations for senior management and analyze claims trends.
- Coordinate with external suppliers, including insurers and brokers.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings and appointments.
- Maintain electronic and hard copy filing systems.
- Sort, record, and file incoming and outgoing correspondence.
- Dependable, trustworthy, and organized with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and discretion in handling private matters.
- Well-versed in various insurance coverages with the ability to quickly learn evolving policies.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to escalate complex issues appropriately.
- Experience in an analytical or finance role is advantageous.
- Fluency in English, with proficiency in French and/or Spanish as an asset.
- Proficient in IT skills, including MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work effectively and independently in a small team within a corporate office environment.
- Solution-oriented with agility and not routine-driven.
- Collaborative working style.
Experience in an analytical or finance role within a corporate environment is advantageous.
