Chanel Senior ESG Performance Controller

- Support finance teams in sustainable performance initiatives, acting as the primary liaison for finance-related queries within the division.
- Aid in defining and steering value-enhancing actions through innovative approaches for decision-making, including investment and ESG due diligence.
- Contribute to the development of ESG strategies at the project or real estate portfolio level.
- Collaborate with finance to build new decision-support processes and help finance teams adopt methodologies.
- Participate in the external reporting setup, focusing on capital goods reporting and European green taxonomy.
- Propose process improvements and system solutions for automated tracking of green taxonomy issues.
- Assist in coordinating reporting and operational teams to meet financial impact requirements of climate issues according to ESRS standards.
- Prepare quantitative information for future sustainability reports within the financial information scope.
- Contribute to the evolution and implementation of new IT tools and dashboards for financial and extra-financial reporting.
- Conduct thorough research on sustainable finance practices and maintain awareness of industry trends.
- Master's degree or equivalent in finance or engineering with a specialization in finance.
- Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in financial reporting, with a strong understanding of sustainable finance.
- Proficiency in financial systems and ERP projects.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
- Strong analytical and synthesis skills.
- Ability to navigate complex and evolving ecosystems.
- Excellent teamwork and project management skills.
- Proficiency in constructing business models and strategic analyses.
- Rigorous attention to detail and adherence to deadlines.
A minimum of 8 years in financial reporting, ideally with exposure to sustainable finance practices.
