Chanel Senior Accountant

- Manage and oversee accounting operations related to Chanel Switzerland's client accounts across three entities.
- Collaborate closely with sales teams and financial controllers to ensure accurate client account management, billing, payment tracking, and dispute resolution.
- Understand and implement boutique procedures.
- Process company bank accounts, including client receipts via BVR and transfers.
- Reconcile daily sales from boutiques and record client transfers in boutique software.
- Input credit card receipts and ensure client account follow-up, including payment reminders and handling unpaid invoices.
- Participate in account reconciliation, bank reconciliation, and client balance justification.
- Ensure compliance with current accounting and tax regulations.
- Monitor aged client balances and report to commercial management.
- Contribute to monthly and annual closings and Group reporting (IFRS).
- Perform intercompany reconciliations.
- Handle various administrative tasks such as mail and archiving.
- Actively participate in external audits.
- Approximately 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a retail environment.
- Proficiency in French and English.
- Strong computer skills, including Excel and accounting software such as AX and STAR.
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent team integration skills and adaptability.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with clients.
- Discretion, confidentiality, and professional ethics.
Approximately 5 years in accounting, ideally within retail.
