Chanel Sales Ledger/Accounts Receivable Assistant

- Manage and maintain sales ledgers across the UK business, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of transactions.
- Process receipts, distribute monthly statements, and handle sales invoices.
- Collaborate with the Credit Control Manager and liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors.
- Conduct accounts reconciliations to minimize aged balances and reconcile eCommerce accounts.
- Monitor debtor account balances and maintain records of collection activities.
- Process debit notes and liaise with stakeholders to understand their application.
- Respond promptly to client and internal inquiries, including sending copy invoices and credit notes.
- Build and maintain relationships with key customers to ensure timely payment of overdue invoices.
- Create and maintain staff and FOC accounts.
- Dispatch client statements and ensure appropriate netting of credit notes against debit notes.
- Raise recharge invoices and resolve internal and external queries.
- Assist with close processes, including posting journals in SAP and supporting balance sheet reconciliations.
- Ensure monthly processing deadlines are met and participate in ad hoc duties and projects.
- Previous experience in accounts receivable or sales ledger roles.
- Studying towards a professional accountancy qualification is preferred.
- GCSE level Maths and English or equivalent.
- Strong IT skills, with experience in SAP being advantageous.
- Impeccable attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proactive approach to work and strong organizational skills.
Prior experience in accounts receivable or sales ledger management is required.
GCSE level Maths and English or equivalent.
