Chanel Quality Engineer

- Ensure product compliance throughout the manufacturing process, from development to market release, adhering to client quality standards.
- Identify unique model features for prototype illustration.
- Participate in risk identification and analysis for each collection, monitoring risk management at key stages.
- Request necessary improvements from internal or external producers to meet client quality expectations.
- Validate prototypes and pre-series, identifying and illustrating deviations from targets.
- Develop acceptance ranges and standards in alignment with client requirements.
- Communicate product characteristics to quality controllers and workshops, both internally and with subcontractors.
- Formalize specifications and control ranges for finished products and sub-assemblies, adapting based on client feedback.
- Contribute to the development of surveillance plans in collaboration with various stakeholders.
- Analyze client quality feedback and subcontractor non-conformities to implement action plans.
- Manage quality indicators, alerting and contributing to the resolution of deviations, and measuring action effectiveness.
- Train internal and external stakeholders in quality fundamentals, including standards, procedures, and best practices.
- Lead problem-solving initiatives and conduct quality audits internally and with subcontractors.
- Manage relationships with subcontractors to ensure quality control.
- Lead continuous improvement projects to enhance quality, timelines, and costs, and develop organizational agility.
- Analyze data from production and market feedback for continuous improvement.
- Establish and maintain quality documentation management, translating client needs into standards and updating documents using dedicated tools.
- General engineering degree with a specialization in leather preferred.
- Significant initial experience as a project manager or in a similar role.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and cooperate with various stakeholders.
- Dynamic and results-oriented with perseverance and adaptability in project management.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, metal parts, and accessories is advantageous.
Significant initial experience in a project management role or similar position in a challenging, creative, and ambitious environment.
General engineering degree, specialization in leather preferred.
