Chanel Process Engineering Intern — Fragrance Manufacturing

- Support the process engineering team in the development, validation and optimization of perfume manufacturing processes.
- Participate in scale‑up activities from lab and pilot to industrial production, including execution of production trials and sampling.
- Collect, analyse and report process data to identify efficiency gains, deviations and opportunities for quality improvement.
- Draft and update technical documentation: protocols, standard operating procedures (SOPs), batch records and test reports.
- Collaborate with R&D, quality assurance, maintenance and supply chain to resolve process issues and implement corrective actions.
- Contribute to continuous improvement projects (Lean methodologies, waste reduction, cycle time improvement) and safety initiatives.
- Support commissioning of equipment and perform basic troubleshooting of production lines under supervision.
- Currently enrolled in an engineering programme (Chemical, Process, Mechanical, or equivalent) at Bachelor or Master level.
- Solid academic foundation in unit operations, process engineering principles and industrial chemistry.
- Strong analytical aptitude with the ability to interpret production data and identify root causes.
- Methodical approach to technical documentation and laboratory/production protocols.
- Ability to work in cross‑functional teams and adapt to a manufacturing environment with strict hygiene and safety standards.

- Data analysis and statistical methods (Excel; Minitab or equivalent)
- Root cause analysis and continuous improvement (Lean / Six Sigma principles)
- Technical writing: SOPs, protocols and batch documentation
- Familiarity with industrial production equipment (mixers, pumps, filling lines) and basic utilities
- Health, safety and environmental (HSE) awareness in manufacturing
Internship level: no prior professional experience required. Previous internships or practical experience in chemical, cosmetic or manufacturing environments is advantageous.
Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
