- Manage the complete workflow of grant agreements and contracts, including master service agreements, statements of work, and non-disclosure agreements.
- Engage with stakeholders to understand contractual needs and ensure accurate reflection of requirements while mitigating risks.
- Ensure contractual terms adhere to Fondation processes, guidelines, and policies.
- Review and escalate third-party edits to Chanel legal counsel and stakeholders as necessary.
- Maintain internal repositories of templates, training materials, and policies for accessibility and compliance.
- Support process redevelopment to streamline existing processes in collaboration with Managing Counsel, Finance, and Operations.
- Facilitate training for the team on managing operational aspects of grant agreements and contractual processes.
- Assist the Managing Counsel in providing guidance on UK Charity Commission compliance and sector-specific best practices.
- Initiate signatures of agreements via DocuSign and maintain records of all contracts and related documents.
- Support other administrative needs as required.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in drafting and reviewing contracts.
- Experience in a not-for-profit environment with grant management is preferable.
- Proven project management, time management, and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail for accuracy and consistency in contract management.
- Ability to identify areas for improvement and implement changes.
- Collaborative approach with adept stakeholder engagement skills.
- Integrity, respect for confidentiality, and discretion.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
A minimum of 2 years' experience in contract drafting and review, preferably within a not-for-profit environment.
A formal legal qualification is desirable but not required.
