Chanel Packaging Innovation & Sustainability Design Intern

- Support the packaging innovation and CSR teams in concept development for new primary and secondary packaging solutions.
- Research and evaluate sustainable materials, processes and finishes; compile technical briefs and environmental impact summaries.
- Produce prototypes and mock-ups in collaboration with model shops and external suppliers; coordinate testing and iterations.
- Contribute to life‑cycle assessment (LCA) data collection and preparation of sustainability dashboards and reporting materials.
- Prepare presentations, technical dossiers and samples for internal stakeholders and design reviews.
- Liaise with suppliers, factories and cross‑functional partners (design, procurement, quality, regulatory) to follow project timelines and ensure compliance with brand standards.
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in industrial design, packaging engineering, materials science, product design or environmental/sustainability studies.
- Demonstrable interest in packaging, circular design and sustainable materials selection.
- Strong analytical capacity with attention to technical detail and manufacturability considerations.
- Ability to synthesize technical and environmental data into concise briefs and presentations.

Prior internship or project experience in packaging, product design, materials research or sustainability-related roles preferred but not mandatory. The candidate should demonstrate hands‑on prototyping experience and a track record of academic or practical projects relevant to packaging innovation.
Enrolled in a relevant Bachelor's or Master's degree (industrial design, packaging engineering, materials science, product design, environmental/sustainability studies).
