The Treasury department at Chanel plays a pivotal role in optimizing liquidity, providing funding solutions, and managing financial risks, contributing significantly to the company's business strategy and expansion.
- Monitor, control, and report on the operations of the Financial Markets and Treasury Operations Team for both Global and Regional teams.
- Ensure compliance with approved treasury policies and regulations.
- Maintain consistency in trade bookings and ensure timely confirmation and reporting of activities such as FX, CM, ICL, IRS, Options, and Money Markets.
- Ensure the quality and accuracy of information in the Treasury Management System (TMS) and control operations conducted by the Financial Market and Treasury Operations teams.
- Conduct bi-annual user access reviews for e-banking platforms and Treasury management, in line with audit guidelines.
- Coordinate the annual physical signors review in collaboration with the Regional Treasury Team.
- Track globally harmonized KPIs using automated management reports and dashboards.
- Build quarterly Cash management cost reports and identify potential areas for cost reduction.
- Stay informed about external regulations and ensure strict compliance, including EMIR reporting.
- Serve as the point of contact for internal and external audits related to treasury activities.
- Oversee the month-end accounting process, including trades-related entries, in collaboration with the Global accounting team.
- Act as the point of contact for private investors, managing periodic interest payment letters.
- Master's degree in Finance, ideally with a focus on Treasury and Controls.
- First short-term experience or internship in an international corporation.
- Commitment to compliance and regulatory adherence.
- Affinity with technology and dashboarding tools, with knowledge of Power Query and Power BI considered a strong asset.
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and improve processes.
- Demonstrated integrity and ethical conduct in all activities.
A short-term experience or internship in an international corporation is required.
Master's degree in Finance, ideally with a focus on Treasury and Controls.
