- Provide commercial and distribution legal advice for Chanel's UK retailer distribution network across Fashion, Fragrance & Beauty, and Watches & Fine Jewellery divisions.
- Manage and improve the legal aspects of the distribution network, including licensing arrangements and distribution partnerships, particularly in South Africa.
- Advise on Chanel’s Travel Retail Network and manage legal aspects of selective travel retailer distribution.
- Handle commercial contracts and provide legal advice to Chanel’s corporate functions.
- Liaise with internal distribution experts and the Intellectual Property & Brand Protection Team regarding grey market and counterfeit issues.
- Support on data privacy compliance, real estate, company secretarial, regulatory, advertising, and sustainability matters.
- Qualified Lawyer with at least 4+ years PQE in England & Wales or equivalent international experience.
- Solid distribution and general commercial experience, ideally in an in-house or private practice environment.
- Tech-savvy with an interest in new technologies and AI.
- Strong risk assessment and management capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Critical and creative thinking skills.
At least 4+ years of post-qualification experience in distribution and general commercial law, preferably within the luxury retail sector.
Qualified Lawyer in England & Wales or equivalent international jurisdiction.
