Chanel Knitwear Quality Inspector

1. Conduct incoming, in-process and final inspections of knitwear against technical packs, dimensional charts and approved samples.
2. Identify, classify and document defects (gauge issues, runs, holes, seam/finish faults, colour or dimensional non-conformities) and apply AQL/acceptance criteria.
3. Measure garments and components using precision tools and record measurements in quality reports and inspection databases.
4. Liaise with production, pattern and sample teams to investigate root causes and implement corrective actions and preventive measures.
5. Prepare clear inspection reports, non-conformance notices and trend analyses; escalate recurring quality issues to management.
6. Support continuous improvement initiatives by proposing process, material or workmanship improvements to reduce rejects and rework.
7. Participate in supplier audits and on-site technical trainings to ensure compliance with brand standards and specifications.

1. Proven technical knowledge of knit construction, yarns and garment manufacturing processes.
2. Ability to read and interpret technical packs, size/tolerance charts and quality standards.
3. Strong attention to detail and systematic approach to defect classification and measurement.
4. Effective verbal and written communication skills to coordinate with production and vendor partners.
5. Familiarity with quality management methodologies and inspection protocols (AQL); experience with corrective action workflows.

Technical diploma or degree in textiles, fashion technology, apparel engineering or equivalent practical experience.
