- Conduct weekly quality inspections at manufacturing sites to ensure adherence to Chanel's quality standards.
- Verify regulatory compliance, including certifications and laboratory tests, and liaise with the Global Quality team.
- Analyze the quality performance of the knitwear supply chain.
- Support the Quality Manager in managing cross-functional projects such as alterations and quality committees.
- Identify quality issues during collection check-ins and validate appropriate solutions.
- Monitor and analyze the quality system methodology at manufacturing partners.
- Enhance knowledge of production capabilities, including machinery and subcontractors.
- Ensure necessary certifications for markets and regulatory compliance for collections and manufacturers.
- Regularly train manufacturing quality teams according to Chanel's standards and oversee their quality control methods.
- Act as the primary liaison for the Distribution Center's Quality team.
- Plan weekly quality checks for collections at production sites.
- Support Central Quality and After-Sales Service in coordinating market returns.
- Participate in preparing presentations for Manufacturer, Knitwear Quality, and Cross-Functional Quality Committees.
- Conduct risk analysis for production and participate in collection reviews.
- Draft periodic quality control reports and share quality alerts with textile supply chain departments and producers.
- Update checklists to support performance monitoring.
- Specialization in fashion and luxury with at least 3 years in similar roles.
- Previous experience in quality control within the textile industry, preferably in high-end knitwear ready-to-wear.
- Familiarity with the fashion sector, particularly knitwear and jersey.
- Sensitivity to knitwear products.
- Knowledge of the textile/knitwear industry and key machinery, with technical expertise.
- Organizational and reporting skills, with the ability to synthesize information.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital tools.
- Problem-solving skills, teamwork, initiative, and curiosity.
- Fluency in French, English, and Italian.
A minimum of 3 years in quality control roles within the textile industry, preferably in high-end knitwear.
