Chanel IT Director

- Implement and adapt global and regional IT strategies to align with local business needs across Germany and Central Eastern Europe.
- Serve as the primary interface for all market-related IT topics with the Europe and GER&CEE Management teams.
- Optimize IT infrastructure and applications across all divisions, including Fashion, Fragrance & Beauty, Watches & Fine Jewelry, and corporate service departments.
- Foster a local innovation-driven tech culture, mentor employees, and drive change management initiatives.
- Lead and develop the local IT team to ensure high service quality at POS and office levels.
- Implement new tools and applications to enhance local team performance and facilitate knowledge transfer.
- Support BI Key Users and engage with stakeholders across the European region and local markets.
- Plan and manage the IT budget for GER&CEE, prioritize local demands, and manage external partners.
- Contribute to cross-regional projects, providing market insights and expertise.
- Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and manage cybersecurity risks.
- University degree, ideally a master's in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
- Proven track record of success in IT management within a customer-facing role.
- Broad knowledge of IT systems including ERP systems (D365), BI, EDIFACT, O365, and cloud-based technologies.
- Demonstrated leadership experience.
- Excellent communication skills in German and English.
- Ability to align IT systems with organizational goals and objectives.
- Customer-centric mindset in a retail environment.
Relevant expertise in IT management with a focus on customer-facing roles and a successful track record.
Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
