Chanel IP Litigation & Anti‑Counterfeiting Legal Intern

The legal function supports a highly protective brand strategy, working across markets to preserve artistic integrity and combat counterfeiting while advising commercial and creative teams.
- Assist the IP litigation team in managing active disputes before French and foreign courts; prepare case files, chronologies and litigation briefs.
- Draft, review and translate legal correspondence including cease-and-desist letters, filing summaries and administrative submissions.
- Support coordination with external counsel, customs authorities and law enforcement for cross-border enforcement actions and seizures.
- Collect, analyse and preserve evidentiary material; maintain chain-of-custody records and internal case databases.
- Monitor online and physical markets for counterfeits; prepare enforcement reports and intelligence summaries for internal stakeholders.
- Contribute to anti‑counterfeiting operations logistics, including seizure follow-ups, procedural filings and hearing preparation.
- Prepare regular status reports and presentations for senior counsel and business partners.
- Enrolled in a graduate law programme (Master 1/2 or equivalent) with a focus on intellectual property, industrial property or international business law.
- Strong legal research and drafting skills, with sensitivity to procedural requirements in IP litigation.
- High level of discretion, professionalism and ability to handle confidential material.
- Excellent organisational skills and capacity to manage multiple files and deadlines.

Previous internship experience in a law firm, in-house legal department or with public enforcement bodies focusing on IP or litigation is advantageous but not mandatory. Demonstrated exposure to IP enforcement, case management or investigative work will be valued.
Currently enrolled in a Master-level law programme (Master 1 or Master 2) or equivalent, specialising in intellectual property, industrial property or international business law.
