- Ensure the security and protection of creations, projects, and product launches through prior art searches, product clearance, risk assessments, and strategic protection measures.
- Support operational teams with strategic analyses, pragmatic advice, and intellectual property awareness.
- Manage, optimize, and enhance the intellectual property rights portfolio.
- Coordinate with other Intellectual Property teams, providing recommendations with diplomacy and clarity.
- Draft and negotiate contracts and agreements related to product creation and intellectual property, including designer contracts, agency agreements, and licenses.
- Handle pre-litigation and litigation matters related to creation and intellectual property rights, including dossier preparation, research, analysis, and negotiation of transactional agreements.
- Actively participate in the preparation of memos, guidelines, processes, and presentation materials.
- Contribute to cross-functional projects within the Legal Department at both global and regional levels.
- Oversee budget management and coordinate with international legal networks and service providers.
- Minimum of 5 years of successful experience in intellectual property and contract law, gained in a law firm and/or corporate setting.
- Excellent command of English, both spoken and written.
- Proficiency with IT tools such as Office, legal databases, and the Internet.
- Analytical and relational skills for strategic vision and action planning.
- Strong business acumen, proactivity, adaptability, and curiosity for new trends and innovation.
- Team spirit, collaboration skills, and contribution to team cohesion and dynamism.
- Responsiveness and pragmatism to meet business needs with agility.
A minimum of 5 years in intellectual property and contract law, preferably within the luxury sector.
