Chanel Inbound and Import Planner

- Oversee and enhance supply chain operations for Fashion, Watches, Fine Jewelry, High Jewelry, and Fragrance and Beauty.
- Ensure efficiency in inbound and import processes, maintaining key shipment and inventory management procedures.
- Liaise with external providers to manage operational performance KPIs and build productive relationships with regional operations and IT teams.
- Drive automation and eliminate non-value-adding steps in collaboration with the Supply Chain Manager.
- Act as the primary contact for the Distribution team in planning inbound activities and returns.
- Track shipments and coordinate with freight forwarders to prevent delays.
- Review freight options and lead optimization projects to reduce lead-time and customs clearance time.
- Manage end-to-end responsibility for the safe and timely arrival of all inbound freight.
- Coordinate with the warehouse team for inbound planning and participate in daily DC meetings to align on incoming shipments.
- Handle shipping administration, including communication with freight forwarders, customs clearance agents, and customs.
- Track and reconcile freight for all divisions.
- Manage inbound transfers, credit notes for damages or shortages, and liaise globally for imports in Watches, Fine, and High Jewelry categories.
- Tertiary qualifications in supply chain management, warehousing, logistics, or significant hands-on experience.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and familiarity with TMI and Manhattan (WMS) systems.
- Ability to establish effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills for gathering, interpreting, and disseminating information.
- Experience in inventory management, with retail or FMCG experience preferred.
Previous experience in inventory management, including knowledge of inventory management processes, procedures, and systems.
Tertiary qualifications in supply chain management, warehousing, logistics, or equivalent experience.
