Chanel Head of Sales Development

- Develop and deliver the UK Retail Sales strategy for the Fragrance & Beauty division.
- Collaborate with National Accounts and Head of Retail & Store Operations to implement the Annual Retail Sales Plan.
- Create and execute retailer and owned distribution strategies to enhance trade activities.
- Identify geographical priorities and build regional plans to achieve retail targets.
- Monitor retail sales forecasts, identify opportunities and risks, and propose solutions.
- Partner with the Head of National Accounts and Head of Retail & Store Operations to maximize business opportunities.
- Ensure alignment of sell-out strategies with marketing demand plans and budgets.
- Represent UK Sales within the Global Retail community.
- Provide insights on events and activations to ensure consistency and accountability.
- Manage the Events & Activation team to enhance in-store client experiences.
- Develop and manage the budget for activations in collaboration with Marketing.
- Lead the Sales Development Team, fostering accountability in project management and business analytics.
- Evaluate and enhance service offerings in partnership with Education teams.
- Proven experience in strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams.
- Extensive experience in retail dynamics, channel management, and P&L levers.
- Strategic thinking and ability to translate brand vision into actionable strategies.
- Strong commercial acumen and understanding of retail dynamics.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis and leveraging insights for strategic decisions.
- Leadership and team management capabilities.
Extensive experience in strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting within a fast-paced retail environment is required.
