Chanel Fragrance & Beauty Area Sales Manager

- Own sales performance and P&L accountability for the fragrance & beauty portfolio across the Shenzhen territory, delivering against revenue, margin and KPI targets.
- Lead, coach and develop multi-site retail teams and counter managers to maximise conversion, average transaction value and client retention through disciplined clienteling.
- Implement brand commercial strategy locally: roll out product launches, promotional calendars, visual merchandising standards and seasonal activations in partnership with trade marketing.
- Manage relationships with retail partners, department stores and internal distribution channels to optimise assortment, stock-flow and promotional execution.
- Analyse sales performance and market trends to produce accurate forecasts, territory reports and actionable improvement plans.
- Ensure rigorous compliance with Chanel brand standards, retail operations, loss prevention and customer service protocols.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, retail management or a related discipline (or equivalent professional experience).
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in luxury beauty or cosmetics retail sales, with at least 2–3 years in a multi-site or area management role.
- Proven record of meeting and exceeding revenue and margin targets in a competitive luxury retail environment.
- Strong leadership experience: recruitment, talent development, performance management and frontline coaching.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills; ability to influence internal teams and external retail partners.
- Proficiency in Mandarin and business-level English preferred; capacity to operate in a bilingual business environment.

Five or more years of progressive experience in luxury beauty or cosmetics retail sales, including 2–3 years managing multiple retail locations or sales teams. Demonstrable experience launching products, driving store performance and managing relationships with department stores or retail partners.
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, retail management or a related field preferred; equivalent professional experience accepted.
