Chanel Financial Controller - Margin & Inventory

1. Reconcile and consolidate monthly retail stock for Fashion Europe boutiques.
2. Calculate and reconcile obsolescence data for Fashion Europe stocks monthly.
3. Ensure accurate billing for dismantling costs of recycled products in Europe.
4. Analyze business coverage evolution and communicate findings to top management.
5. Oversee quarterly accounting closure for Chanel SAS bulk stocks.
6. Conduct ad hoc analyses related to business developments.
7. Supervise an intern in managing exceptional boutique movements, negative and in-transit stocks, and monthly inventory tracking.
8. Guarantee stock management procedures for European Fashion boutiques and act as a reference for stock-related matters.
9. Maintain and adapt internal control procedures to align with organizational and strategic changes.
10. Train country referents on procedures to enable them to train boutiques (Train the Trainer approach).
11. Lead the community of country procedure referents and organize biannual meetings.
12. Define pricing rates for each collection in collaboration with Country Directors and Financial Directors.
13. Update pricing rules for each collection and monitor indices for deviations.
14. Support margin management and track projected MOC.
15. Coordinate the repatriation of obsolete products and manage sales quotas for staff in boutiques.
16. Forecast returns of fashion products to (Re)Connect Europe.
17. Coordinate annual inventories for boutiques and European stock.
18. Plan inventories for Central Stock, Recyclability, and Rue Cambon.
19. Centralize inventory reports and synthesize country results, deepening analysis with local teams if necessary.
20. Act as the finance reference for My Inventories App and RFID developments, collaborating with Fashion Operations Europe and IT Retail.
21. Support the implementation of the ORION project across the scope.
22. Monitor ERP changes at central stock and post Go Live developments.
23. Support obsolete and recycling return flows for wholesale partners.
24. Create an RFID tag check report for boutiques.
25. Ensure new processes align with internal control rules.
26. Contribute to operational and financial process optimization projects.
27. Serve as the Italian market reference and primary contact for the CFO Italy and team.
28. Support and analyze during closure and budget phases.
29. Co-construct OTB for Italian boutiques with Merchandising based on Fashion Manager inputs.

1. Minimum of 3 years of experience in finance.
2. Recognized interpersonal skills and team collaboration ability.
3. Proven project management skills and ability to work autonomously.
4. Reliability, rigor, and initiative-taking capabilities.
5. Versatility in addressing financial, internal control, operational, and IT topics.

A minimum of 3 years of experience in finance, preferably within the luxury fashion industry.

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
