Chanel Financial Accountant

1. Perform monthly financial closing tasks, including inventory reconciliation, goods-in-transit monitoring, and support for physical count processes.
2. Assist in the preparation of adjustment journals, depreciation journals, and reclassification of entries during month-end closing.
3. Prepare balance sheet breakdowns and global reporting submissions.
4. Handle general inquiries from external parties such as auditors and business users.
5. Support internal control activities on financial statements, including local stock count planning, cycle count reviews, and physical asset audits.
6. Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements and apply relevant statutory reporting and accounting standards.
7. Maintain and update Chanel's Chart of Accounts and practice internal controls at the transactional level.
8. Identify and escalate inappropriate behavior or non-compliance with policies.
9. Utilize system outputs to meet job requirements and apply tests for reasonability and accuracy.
10. Manage finance-related administrative tasks to support financial processes.
11. Participate in projects and assignments, including system updates and UAT testing.

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (CPA is a plus).
2. At least 2 years of work experience, preferably in a multinational environment or audit firm.
3. Experience with retail industry is advantageous.

1. Solid expertise in month-end closing processes and understanding of market specificities.
2. Proficiency in fixed asset and lease accounting.
3. Full professional proficiency in Thai and English.
4. Ability to embrace challenges and adapt to changes.
5. Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
6. Ability to work independently.

Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience, preferably in a multinational environment or audit firm. Experience in the retail industry is a plus.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (CPA is a plus).
