Chanel Fabric Product Manager

- Lead end-to-end fabric product development for assigned collections: from trend and material research through sampling, specification and industrialization.
- Manage relationships with textile mills and suppliers, negotiating costs, lead times and commercial terms while ensuring material quality and traceability.
- Collaborate closely with design, technical, sourcing, production and quality teams to translate creative intent into manufacturable, costed fabrics.
- Define and maintain technical specifications, quality standards and testing protocols for all fabrics in the scope.
- Drive material innovation by scouting new weaves, finishes and sustainable fibres, and manage pilot projects to validate new materials.
- Coordinate sampling schedules, approve pre-production samples and resolve technical issues during fit and production phases.
- Monitor material performance against delivery milestones and KPIs; implement corrective actions to mitigate supply or quality risks.
- Degree in Textile Engineering, Materials Science, Fashion Product Development or equivalent professional experience.
- 3–5 years minimum experience in fabric/product development, sourcing or materials management within luxury fashion or technical textiles.
- Demonstrated knowledge of textile constructions, finishes, testing methods and industrial constraints.
- Proven negotiation experience with textile suppliers and mills, including cost analysis and lead-time optimisation.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple season calendars and cross-functional stakeholders.

Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience in fabric or materials product development, ideally within a luxury fashion house or technical textile environment, with proven supplier management and industrialization track record.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Textile Engineering, Materials Science, Fashion/Textile Product Development, or equivalent professional experience.
