1. Oversee daily distribution operations and warehouse activities, ensuring optimal efficiency through effective planning and direction of work for union associates.
2. Lead warehouse functions related to Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Warehouse Control Systems (WCS) to enhance operational effectiveness.
3. Manage a team of over 100 union associates and equipment resources, ensuring seamless performance of daily operational tasks.
4. Foster employee growth by providing constructive feedback and conducting performance reviews, preparing team members for future opportunities.
5. Serve as the Project Manager for peak season initiatives and continuous improvement projects, ensuring readiness for high-demand periods and implementing enhancements.
6. Engage in long-term planning and projects focused on automation, capacity, and throughput to support organizational growth.
7. Create and maintain business process definitions, procedures, and training materials to equip associates with the knowledge needed for success.
8. Translate technical and functional user requirements into actionable solutions, bridging the gap between operations and technology.
9. Lead and support operations transformation initiatives, focusing on the design, testing, and implementation of revised business processes and systems.

1. College degree in applicable field preferred or a minimum of 7 years applicable supervisory experience in a distribution environment

1. Strong supervisory skills
2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
3. Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (preferably Manhattan Associates)
4. Familiarity with highly automated distribution (preferably Goods to Person / ASRS)
5. Strong familiarity with warehouse control (WCS) and distribution systems, processes, and equipment
6. Ability to interpret corporate policies and rules and apply to daily activities
7. Familiarity with LEAN concepts and continuous process improvement models
8. Ability to work second shift and potential Saturday to support e-commerce operation

5 – 7 years of experience in distribution operations, with a focus on leading change and enhancing operational efficiency.

College degree in applicable field preferred or a minimum of 7 years applicable supervisory experience in a distribution environment

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $70,100 to $105,000. Base salary is one component of the total compensation for this position. Other forms of variable pay may be offered for this position. Other components will include bonus potential, benefits, and/or perks.
