Chanel Data Factory Manager

- Define the roadmap for the Data Factory in alignment with business priorities and overall data strategy.
- Structure and lead teams of project managers, BI developers, QA, and DevOps in an agile and collaborative framework.
- Oversee the development of data products from requirements gathering to production deployment.
- Ensure high-quality deliverables that are comprehensive, robust, well-documented, and performant.
- Manage backlog capacity and prioritization based on business value and team availability.
- Ensure adherence to modeling, visualization, documentation, and security standards in collaboration with Tech Lead and architects.
- Collaborate with business units to ensure understanding of needs and acceptance of delivered products, in synergy with the Governance team and other IT domains.
- Support the skill development of project teams and BI developers in collaboration with technical experts.
- Evaluate and improve delivery processes, promoting automation, reusability, and agility.
- Participate in data governance rituals, project committees, and interactions with business leadership.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience, including 10 years in data project management and several years in team management or delivery structuring.
- Recognized for interpersonal skills, ability to unite and motivate, and results-oriented mindset.
- Strong understanding of modern data architectures, BI tools, analytical modeling principles (facts, dimensions), and cloud environments.
- Ability to transform business needs into useful, usable, and used data products.
- Structured, demanding, yet pragmatic approach with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Comfortable in a complex, demanding, and creative environment like fashion.
At least 15 years of experience, including 10 years in data project management and several years in team management or delivery structuring.
