Chanel Credit and Collections Analyst

1. Assess the creditworthiness of new and existing customers by reviewing and validating financial documents, including financial statements and tax returns.
2. Analyze payment history and credit reports to evaluate risk levels and propose credit limits, terms, and expiration dates in accordance with internal policies.
3. Maintain and update customer credit files and participate in credit committee meetings or submit credit adjustments for approval.
4. Monitor accounts receivable daily and follow up on overdue invoices, sending proactive payment reminders before and after due dates.
5. Generate and analyze aging reports by customer, region, and segment to ensure correct and timely payment application in the ERP system.
6. Contact delinquent customers to negotiate payments or revised payment plans, logging all collection activities and commitments in the system or CRM.
7. Escalate unresolved or high-risk cases to Legal or Management to reduce bad debt exposure and improve collection effectiveness.
8. Collaborate with various teams to validate commercial conditions and prevent invoice disputes, supporting the resolution of billing or delivery issues affecting payments.
9. Suggest improvements to credit policies and collection procedures and participate in internal and external audits by providing required documentation.

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. 2 to 4 years of experience in credit and collections roles, preferably in consumer goods, retail, manufacturing, or B2B services.
3. Proven experience managing a portfolio of over 100 accounts or monthly invoicing volumes above $5M MXN (or equivalent).

1. Proficiency in ERP systems, particularly Microsoft Dynamics.
2. Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, formulas, and VLOOKUP; macros are desirable.
3. Strong analytical and organizational skills.
4. Results-driven and deadline-oriented.
5. Effective communication, negotiation, and diplomacy skills.
6. Ability to manage time and multiple priorities.

2 to 4 years in credit and collections roles, preferably in industries such as consumer goods, retail, manufacturing, or B2B services.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
