Chanel Corporate Legal & Compliance Intern

1. Support the corporate legal team in drafting, reviewing and annotating commercial and corporate contracts and internal agreements.
2. Conduct regulatory and jurisprudential research on French and European corporate, commercial and compliance matters.
3. Assist with day-to-day compliance monitoring tasks, including KYC/sanctions screenings, internal controls and policy implementation.
4. Prepare clear legal memoranda, summaries and presentation materials for counsel and business partners.
5. Help maintain legal project trackers, corporate records and compliance documentation to ensure audit readiness.
6. Coordinate with business units and external counsel to obtain information, follow up on open issues and support investigations when required.

1. Currently enrolled in a Master’s-level law programme (Master 1/Master 2, LLM) or equivalent with a focus on corporate law, compliance or regulatory affairs.
2. Strong academic record and demonstrable interest in in-house corporate counsel work and compliance frameworks.
3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; capacity to draft precise legal notes in French and to adapt detail for non-legal stakeholders.
4. High level of discretion, organisational rigor and ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
5. Right to work in France for the duration of the internship and availability for the period required by French internship law.
